These are 8 pairs of shoes that are recent additions to my ever-growing shoe collection. I bought these consecutively at around the same time. They all have one thing in common, and that is that they are pretty minimalist in style. I tend to go for shoes with a neutral color, such as black or white or nude, so I can maximize the number of outfits I can wear them with. I have worn each of these to work recently, so I'll give a mini-review of each.
Ankle Strap Crisscross Sandals: I fell in love when I laid eyes on these shoes. They are one of my favorites. I get compliments whenever I wear them, which is a nice perk. They are comfortable. Great for work. The stacked heel supports the heel of my foot and has a lower height, so I last longer in these cuties.
Pointed-toe ankle strap heel: These are comfortable shoes. They last me about 5 hours before I start to feel some soreness at the balls of my feet. I love the simple style. I can never have enough pointed-toe shoes. The lower heel make it wearable for a long periods of time.
Grey + Silver Faux Leather Pointed Loafers: I love loafers. This style is professional and trendy at the same time. I love this style so much that I got it in two colors. The silver ones are for when I want add a trendy statement piece. These shoes are pretty stiff, if I am being honest. You're going to need bandaids to protect your Achille's heels and the skin on the side of your ankle. The material is so stiff that after a half hour of wear, the friction against your skin will rub it raw. I will still wear them because they're cute as fuck, just with bandages to protect from the friction.
Christian Siriano for Payless Women's Hannah Snake Pointed Pump: This one is definitely another one of my favorites. I've been looking for a pointed-toe pump with some color-block or detail at the tip. This one has a faux snake skin detailing that is bordered off with a strip of silver. These suede heels are just perfect. It's conservative for work but stylish. I'd say I can wear these up to 4 hours of constant standing/walking before I start feeling something sore.
Christian Siriano for Payless WOMEN'S LIZA LUCITE WEDGE: I love the negative space trend in clothing, nails, and these shoes. There is a clear strip at the toe and cut-outs on each side. These wedges fit like a glove. There is a soft material in hot pink lining the interior of this shoe. Since it's a wedge, there is support for the foot that allows me to wear this shoe forever.
Women's Ramona Bootie: This shoe the perfect bootie. I wear it to work pretty much ever other day. The height is not too low or too high. They are comfortable enough to last the whole day. The simple detail add a little chic-ness to the style.
Women's Meadow Slide: These run large by a half size, however they are still comfortable. These ones last all day as well. I don't feel any soreness after a 5 hours of constant standing or walking. I love the snake skin detail. I've been looking for a pair of mules, since I am all about showing a little ankle action.
I hope you liked this post and maybe found some inspiration for your shoe collection!
