This post number two of two costumes I have for this Halloween. This is in contrast to the bubbly colorfulness of my Sailor Mars costume. I have a thing for TV shows and animes that err on the side of violence and feature psychological turmoil. I don't know, there is just something about life-and-death situations and characters with dark, angsty developments. It makes for an enticing drama. The Walking Dead had me for a while at one point. Finished 4 seasons in two days. I was late on the bandwagon, as usual. I just got into the anime Tokyo Ghoul, since there was some hype about it. I actually like it. There are some creepy moments featuring cannibalism, and the main character goes through some psychological distress. You'll have to check it out yourself to see why.
The thing with scary taboo characters is that they usually have a very human side to them, at least at some point in their past life. You end up sympathizing with them, and you learn to not quickly judge even the worst people without giving them a chance. And then there are some characters that just are fucked up to begin with. We like those ones for thrills.
This dress is from BooHoo. Link below. It comes in petite sizes. The fabric and fit is perfect. Not too tight, not too loose. Very comfortable. I got mine in a size UK 4, which converts to US 0 or XXS according their sizing. It's versatile in that it is an LBD. Can't go wrong with that. It's a classic sexy. I accessorized with a vintage necklace my mom game me. I would say this outfit is influenced by Morticia Addams from The Addams Family. Add a couple fangs, and you'll be a vampire. Or put on a witch's hat. Black heels, and you're ready to go!
