I went into the city this past weekend and finally got a nice photo opp. Shout out to my friend Veronica for being me photographer! Boy, was it cold that day. Too cold. The only time I ever took off my jacket was for these photos. 55˚F in Philly. I honestly dread winter. Why, East coast, y u so brutally frigid? My mom was on the phone with a relative in California the other day and she said it was almost 90˚F. HOW? But the coldness was worth it, since I got to catch up with my former roommates from college. We kind of sought shelter in Shake Shack.
This week's outfit is simple and casual. Good for a day out on the town. Bringing back the poncho this fall. I found this one at Charlotte Russe. They had an awesome sale on sweaters. Still going on now! Link below. The minimalist cut and pattern keeps it polished. And who doesn't love neutrals? The boots are wonderfully comfortable. Walking around the city was not an issue. The leather is nice and soft. I actually borrowed the boots from my mom. We're the same shoe size (US 5-5.5) . Yup, I come from a clan of tiny Viet people. Keep it casual with a pair of jeans, and you're good to go.
Hope you like this outfit!
